Thank you for visiting Boreal Bee Apothecary. My name is Brittney, the hands and heart behind this little venture. I live in Southcentral Alaska with my 3 boys and husband. We followed God's call here 10 years ago and we have never looked back. This place is the gift that keeps on giving and I just want to capture pieces of it and bottle it up to share. Three years ago, I got into beekeeping and my Buckfast bees make the sweetest floral honey. I can honeslty say I have never tasted anything like Alaska wildflower honey and other customers agree!

The bees share in my family's enjoyment of our land that is full of wildflowers, wild roses, red clover, fireweed, yarrow, birch, poplar, spruce, and more, all nestled by the Little Su River. With my sweet little helpers, I forage for local plants to add to teas and salves. What I can't find locally or in season, I source with care.

When it comes to skincare products, I have a high value for low PUFA (polyunsaturated fatty acid) oils such as jojoba oil, olive oil, and tallow that are readily accepted by our skin and provide essential nutrients such as E, B, chromium, copper, zinc, K, D, A, and CLAs, among others.
