Balm of Gilead Cream
This lovely, handcrafted, small batch Balm of Gilead Cream avoids aluminum and comes in stainless steel containers. The Poplar Buds were wild harvested in the Spring from local Alaskan cottonwood trees and have a potent resin. After being infused in olive oil for 4-6 months, it creates a highly aromatic and potent oil. For my sensitive folks, I made a batch without essential oils. It is highly aromatic on its own.
Size: 2oz stainless steel container with screw top lid
INGREDIENTS:
Wild harvested Alaskan Poplar/Cottonwood Buds (populus balsamifera), infused in Organic Jojoba Oil & Organic Olive Oil, Local Alaskan Beeswax, Distilled Water, Vitamin E, Frankincense essential oil
POTENTIAL USES: chest rub for coughs, colds, or phlegm. Rub on chapped noses. Beneficial for dry and cracked skin and lips, cuts, burns/sunburns, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, inflammation, pain or sore muscles, among other things
CAUTIONS: If you have an aspirin or white willow bark allergy you may be allergic to poplar buds as they contain salicylic acid (a usually beneficial mild pain reliever). A small percentage of people are allergic to salicylic acid.
PLEASE NOTE: As in the picture, your cream will come either whipped or smooth depending on the temperature of the product when it was transferred to the container. It is the same product and texture.
This product is handcrafted, small batch, and may vary slightly. Be aware if shipping in winter, it may freeze in the mail. Some consistency changes may occur after melting, but neither of these occurrences will change the benefits of the cream.
