Tatanka Tallow Balm

Tatanka (meaning buffalo in Lakota) tallow is a grass-fed bison tallow herbal infusion that is truly heavenly. Conveniently packed in roll-up containers or simple glass amber jars, you can glide it on your skin for an array of skincare needs. This balm is scented by golden local Alaskan beeswax, wildflower honey, and herbal infusions, particularly lavender. No essential oils were needed to provide the lovely scent, which makes it a perfect option for sensitive skin folks.

Bison tallow is considered more nutrient dense than beef tallow and known to have skin loving vitamins such as A, D, K and E. The CLA in tallow is anti inflammatory and detoxifying. Tallow is similar to our own sebum making it readily absorbed by the skin without clogging pores and aiding in collagen production. Jojoba oil similarly mimics our skin’s sebum and is rich in vitamin B. It helps protect and moisturize the skin among an array of other benefits.

This balm comes packing with 9 medicinal herbs. Each one of these ingredients has been known to have an array of beneficial properties that range from anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-fungal, antimicrobial, antioxidant, antiseptic, antihistamine, astringent, antiviral, analgesic, detoxifier, circulation booster, anti-aging or skin regenerative, skin soothing, moisturizing, etc.
